Carrier Oils
are base oils used to dilute essential oils. They help essential oils penetrate the hair and skin, they basically carry the essential oil into the skin and hair.

Each carrier oil offers a different combination of therapeutic properties and characteristics. The choice of carrier oil can depend on the therapeutic property sought.

They are suitable for use on their own. Many creams, lip balms, lotions, and other moisturizing products are made using these oils.

*Note: Carrier oils can go rancid after a long period. Store in a cool, dark place. Any carrier oil derived from nuts has the potential to cause allergic reactions in people allergic to nuts
